Sorsogon State University celebrated its annual Christmas party on December 20, 2024, with a festive yet scaled-down event in response to Malacanang’s directive to avoid lavish gatherings.
Employees from the university’s four campuses enjoyed a simultaneous lively celebration filled with food, drinks, and dancing, keeping the celebration simple in line with the government’s guidelines for more low-key get-togethers.
Despite the toned-down celebration, the sense of unity and goodwill remained strong. The event also served as a reminder of the university’s efforts to ensure responsible and meaningful festivities while being mindful of the government’s call for simplicity. (SorSU PIO)
