To uplift the standards of electrical engineering education in the country through healthy competition among student-members, as well as promote the exchange of innovative ideas and experiences, the 20th Regional Student Congress (RSCON), led by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) Regional Council of Student Chapters – Bicol Chapter, was successfully hosted by Sorsogon State University (SorSU), on October 10, 2025, at the at the SorSU New CBM Building, Sorsogon City Campus.
Themed “IIEE @50: Celebrating 50 years of Integrity, Innovation, Empowerment, and Excellence,” the regional conference featured various activities, including event highlights: the 24th Regional Math Wizard (RMW) and the 38th Regional Quiz Show (RQS), along with EE Tutorials and IIEE CSC Technical Webinars.

3rd Place: Divine Word College of Legazpi

This year’s IIEE’s regional congress gathered a total of eight participating institutions: Bicol University, Camarines Norte State College, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Divine Word College of Legazpi, Polytechnic Institute of Tabaco, Sorsogon State University, University of Northeastern Philippines, and University of Nueva Caceres.
