To provide a comprehensive understanding of the on-the-job (OJT) process, outline pre- and post-training requirements, and highlight essential preparations, the Sorsogon State University – Industry Linkages and Development Office (SorSU-ILDO) Unit, headed by Prof. Lelanie L. Berjuega (Head, Career & Placement Services/ILDO), successfully organized a Parents’ and Students’ OJT Orientation and Consultative Meeting, involving third-year students from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CoEA), together with their respective parents on April 4, 2025, at the SorSU Audio-Visual, Sorsogon City Campus.
Participants comprised students from various programs, including BS Architecture, BS Civil Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, and BS Mechanical Engineering.
The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to ensure that both students and parents were well-informed, actively involved, and fully supported throughout the OJT processes and preparations for industry immersion. (SorSU PIO)
