SorSU Inks MOA with Kurit Lagting, Concerned Artists of the Philippines Bicol Chapter (CAP-Bicol)

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ceremonial signing between Sorsogon State University (SorSU) and Kurit Lagting, as well as between SorSU and Concerned Artists of the Philippines Bicol Chapter (CAP Bicol), took place today, April 04, 2023, at SorSU Board Room, Sorsogon City Campus.

The MOA signifies a shared partnership and collaboration, through one of the projects along SorSU – TED-CARES (Teacher Education Community-Based Activities for Research and Extension Services), on the implementation of PROJECT CHILD (CHampioning Inclusion for Learners with Disabilities): A Webinar-Series for Teacher Educators in the Province of Sorsogon which aims to bring awareness on learning disability, inclusive education, and culture and art education.

SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus represented Sorsogon State University, while Mr. Allan Abrigo (Kurit Lagting – Co-founder) and Joseph Almel Bausa (Regional Coordinator) represented Kurit Lagting and CAP Bicol, respectively. Headed by Dr. Alfonso L. Garcia (Dean, CoTEd), the College of Teacher Education (CoTEd) faculty members: Prof. Jackielyne M. Bosquillos (PROJECT CHILD Leader & BEED/BSNEd – Program Chairman), Prof. Marigrace D. Carretero (Resource Person), and Ms. Susan Mae G. Apostol (Program Chairman) also attended the ceremony. Likewise, CoTEd faculty member, Prof. Anabell A. Manga (BSED/BTVTEd – Program Chairman) was one of the focal persons during the preparation of the Memorandum of Agreement.
