A ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management between the Sorsogon State University and Sorsogon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) took place last 28 November 2022 at the Board Room, Sorsogon City campus.
SorSU President, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, and Hon. Mayor Ester Hamor, City Mayor and Chairwoman of CDRRMC, represented by Mr. Louie Mendoza, as well as DRRM Coordinator, Prof. Saturnino Carranza, signed and witnessed the MOA which aims to strengthen stakeholders’ collaborative efforts on Disaster Risk Reduction management.
Dr. Telesforo Escoto, Campus Director-Sorsogon City, and Prof. Ma. Luisa Marisol, Director-Extension Office, were also present during the MOA signing.
