Sorsogon State University (SorSU) officials, including Dr. Teresa Haide R. Belgica (Acting Dean, College of Health and Science), Prof. Jordan M. Pocaan (Research Ethics Committee), Prof. Jezzabie G. Gamis (Research Utilization Committee), Ms. Karina G. Carillo (Capacity Building Committee), and Ms. Cyrin Mae G. Burton, participated in the 7th Joint Regional Health Research Coordinating Council (RHRCC) Assembly and Parallel Committee Meetings on April 11, 2025, at The Concourse Function Hall, Legazpi City, Albay.
The morning session featured a joint committee meeting in preparation for the 18th Philippine National Health Research System Week Celebration. In the afternoon, the 7th Joint RHRCC Assembly and Technical Working Group committee meeting took place.
A significant highlight of the event was SorSU’s official recognition as a regular member of the Bicol Consortium for Health Research and Development (BCHRD). Dr. Belgica (Dean, CoHaS) delivered the acceptance message. (SorSU PIO)
