Triumphant over other secondary schools in the city, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) – Laboratory High School won two gold medals and one silver during the Archery Training Mini Tournament (Entry Level), which was organized by Sulay sa Futuro Sports League and sponsored by the City Government of Sorsogon, from April 20-23, 2023, at Cambulaga Multi-Purpose Gym, Brgy. Cambulaga, Sorsogon City.

Meanwhile, the grand launching of the Sulay sa Futuro Sports League was held last April 19, 2023, at Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium. The sports league will conclude in December of this year, along with other upcoming sports activities (basketball, volleyball, table tennis, futsal, sepak takraw, taekwondo, arnis, chess, and DanceSport).
