SorSU Magallanes Campus conducts “In-Service Training 2024” 

The Sorsogon State University Magallanes Campus personnel attended the two-day “In-Service Training 2024: Beyond Basics: Mastering Technical Proficiency, Adaptability and Innovation” at Irosin, Sorsogon last February 6, 2024. 

Dr. Catherine A. De Castro, Director, SorSU Planning Management Office, who was one of the speakers of the training, shared the performance results of 2024 Performance Targets of the university along with other concerns. Meanwhile, Prof. Abner L. Dellosa, Head of the Human Resource Management Development Office (HRMDO) discussed Policy Development Compliance, HR Information Systems, Employee Communications and Legal Compliance.

Day two activities include lectures and discussions on class records, table of specifications and portfolio preparation by Dr. Olive N. Mancera, Program Chair, Education and Entrepreneurship Department. Mr. Abel E. Arevalo Jr., Coordinator, Gender and Development/IRO also tackled about syllabus preparations, while Ms. Rachel C. Diaz, RN focused on Stress Management.

Campus training like this is part of the process for the continuous fulfillment of the institution’s vision and mission in the delivery of quality services and the continued enhancements of its various academic programs defining a “Pamantasang may Puso”.
