Themed “In the Spirit of Christmas, we play with melodies of love and gratitude to honor the heart that raised us,” the Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Marching Band and Majorettes, headed by Mr. Elmer P. Esplana (Adviser/Band Director), celebrated the invaluable contributions of parents and guardians through its “Tribute to Parents” event on December 21, 2025, at the SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.
The meaningful initiative honored and acknowledged the unconditional love, support, and sacrifices of parents, guardians, and family members who have been instrumental in shaping the lives of the student-members. Through a series of heartfelt musical performances and presentations, the activity aimed to convey deep appreciation while showcasing the cultural and artistic endeavors of the university.
