SorSU Marching Band performs at Holy Procession in Casiguran, Sorsogon

Catholics in Casiguran, Sorsogon, gathered in unity and devotion for the “Salubong” during the fluvial procession in honor of the image of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary last October 6, 2024 at the Casiguran Pier, Casiguran, Sorsogon. The event drew hundreds of pilgrims who came to honor the revered image and participate in this significant religious observance.

The image of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary was carried along the shores of Casiguran during the fluvial procession, as pilgrims assembled at the pier to witness the solemn event. Their deep faith was evident as they walked in procession, lining the streets of Casiguran, all the way to the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish.

Adding to the sacred atmosphere, the SorSU Marching Band was invited to join the procession, playing the hymn “Awit sa Ina ng Santo Rosaryo” as a tribute to the Blessed Virgin. The event highlighted the strength of community faith and devotion, bringing together both locals and visitors in a shared expression of piety.
