A seminar workshop titled “In-Service Training Capability Enhancement in Writing Research Proposals for the Newly Hired Faculty Members” was held at the SorSU Library. Mr. Arvin G. Malonzo, Chairperson of the Protected Area Management Department, College of Environmental Sciences and Environmental Design at Partido State University, served as a resource speaker during the training.
In his lecture, he expounded on the mainstreaming of the role of the academe for the localization of Sustainable Development Goals. Particularly, he stressed the integration into the regular mandated functions; identified possible entry points and/or bases of engagement in RDE through SDG; and initiated possible collaborative action between the two SUCs and/or partners.
The afternoon session focused on workshops and the presentation of outputs, along with a very comprehensive discussion on Writing Research Proposals: Insights in Publication Processes by Prof. Elden G. Orgela, Program Chair, Fisheries Department.
