The Sorsogon State University-Nihongo Language Training Center (SorSU-NLTC), in cooperation with Japan International Human capital Development Organization (JIHDO), and J-CERT Philippines Association successfully conducted an orientation session on Japanese Language Studies and Examination for Aspiring Workers in Japan on November 26, 2024, at the SorSU Audio Visual Hall, Sorsogon City.
The orientation began with opening remarks by Dr. Orlando D. Doncillo (Dean, College of Technology), followed by a message from Ms. Marietta C. Sato (Representative, SorSU Nihongo Language Training Center). The session covered topics including the enrollment process for Japanese Language and Culture classes and an explanation of the different types of work visas for Japan, along with the application procedures. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions, interact with native Japanese speakers, and gain practical insights from reputable recruitment agencies.
The event was attended by students from Hospitality Management and Tourism Management under the College of Business and Management (CBM), as well as students from the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BET) majors in Mechanical Technology, Civil Technology, Automotive Technology, Welding and Fabrication Technology, and Electrical Technology.
