Mr. Jordan M. Pocaan and Mr. Joebert Tarraya from Sorsogon State University were among the six scholars from three higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country included in the pioneering batch of the National Sports Coaching Certification for the tertiary level—a historic milestone in advancing sports science and coaching in the Philippines. The certification program took place from November 10 to 30, 2024, at the National University Sports Academy in Laguna.
