To streamline the university’s services for greater efficiency, Sorsogon State University officially forged a partnership with OnDemand Innovation, DBA ODI Technologies, Inc., a global technology company, on January 21, 2025, at SorSU Board Room, Sorsogon City Campus.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) outlined the development of a software application to efficiently manage various institutional services. As part of the partnership, OnDemand Innovation, LLC, will provide both financial and technical support throughout the development and deployment phases of the project.
Spearheaded by SorSU-Bulan Campus and SorSU-Research, Extension, and Training (RET), this collaboration highlighted the university’s commitment to improving its institutional services and adopting innovative solutions for administrative needs. Notably, this partnership also marked the first time SorSU-Bulan Campus received an international grant for research, further reinforcing its commitment to innovation and progress.
SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, represented the Sorsogon State University, while Mr. Michael J. Espina (CEO, OnDemand Innovation) represented OnDemand Innovation, DBA ODI Technologies, Inc. The MOA signing was witnessed by Dr. Ryan V. Dio (Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training) and Prof. Ma. Elena C. Demdam (Campus Director, SorSU-Bulan Campus).
Also present at the ceremonial signing were Engr. Ivy Rose B. Gonzales (Director, Research and Development), and Ms. Mary Joy P. Garbo (Administrative Officer V, SorSU-Bulan Campus).
