The Sorsogon Pili Development Board (SPDB), presided by Sorsogon State University (SorSU) SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus (SPDB Chairperson), held its 3rd Quarter Meeting last August 1, 2023, at the SorSU Board Room, Sorsogon City Campus.
The meeting discussed future plans for the Provincial Commodity Trading and Processing Center in Abuyog, Sorsogon City, and the participation of the SPDB in the Kasanggayahan Agri-Trade and Tourism Expo this October 2023. Other matters discussed included 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨, 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙮 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙀𝙐), 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 (𝙂𝘼𝙋) 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚-𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 and 𝙁𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 (𝙋𝘼𝙁𝙀𝙎) 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞.
The SPDB quarterly meeting was also attended by Hon. Benito L. Doma (SP Board Member/Committee on Food Security, Agriculture and Fisheries), PDB Vice-Chairperson Ms. Lilian Alice D. Lopez (SPPC Chairperson/CSO Representative), SPDB Secretary Dr. Maria Teresa V. Destura (PGDH, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist), Dr. Ryan V. Dio (SorSU VPRET), Ms. Merla Caguia (Representative, Department of Trade and Industry-SPO), Engr. Joe Dennis Rodriguez (Project Development Officer III, PPDO), Mr. Daniel Jazmin (PGADH, PENRO LGU Sorsogon), Mr. Gines Deniega (Planning Officer II, OPAg), Ms. Felina Angeles (Administrative Officer III, OPAg), as well as representatives from the Department of Science and Technology-SPO, Department of Environment and Natural Resources-SPO, and Office of the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism, Culture, and Arts.
