SorSU produces 28 newly licensed mechanical engineers

With immense pride, the Sorsogon State University (SorSU) warmly congratulates its 28 newly licensed mechanical engineers for successfully passing the February 2025 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) conducted last February 17-19, 2025, across various testing centers in the country.

According to the official results of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 3,089 out of 6,318 examinees passed the licensure examination. Remarkably, SorSU achieved an outstanding overall performance rating of 59.57%, successfully surpassing the national passing percentage (NPP) of 48.89%. Additionally, SorSU garnered an exemplary rating of 68.29% for first-time takers.
