On behalf of Sorsogon State University, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, alongside Dr. Alfonso L. Garcia, Jr. (Dean, SorSU – College of Teacher Education), received the Certificate of Recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for being the Top 3 Best Performing School nationwide in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) – Elementary Level (with 97.80 % overall performance rating) at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, Albay, last January 21, 2023.
President De Jesus extended her profound gratitude to the SorSU board passers and SorSU-CoTEd faculty members for their passion, hard work, and commitment to continuously advancing the University’s standing on the national scale. She also conveyed her deep appreciation to Dr. Alfonso L. Garcia, Jr. (Dean, SorSU – College of Teacher Education) and Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, SorSU – Sorsogon City Campus) for their leadership and guidance, which were crucial in the achievements of SorSU LEPT passers.
