SorSU-RET organizes Consultative Caravan; SorSU-Sorsogon City Campus faculty provide comments, insights on revised RET Manual of Operations

To ensure that the revised Research, Extension and Training (RET) Manual of Operations is aligned with the needs and expectations of the University faculty, staff, and extensionists, Sorsogon State University – Office of Research, Extension and Training, headed by Dr. Ryan V. Dio (Vice President for Research, Extension and Training), spearheaded a successful consultative caravan with the faculty members of SorSU-Sorsogon City Campus today, November 04, 2024, at the SorSU Audio-Visual, Sorsogon City Campus.

The consultative caravan comprised the following presentations of REMO: Chapter 1 by Dr. Ryan V. Dio (VPRET); Chapters 2, 7, & 8 by Engr. Ivy Rose B. Gonzales (Director, Research and Development); Chapter 3 by Dr. Ana Cristina G. Fortes (Director, Extension and Training Services); Chapter 4 & SorSU Guidelines for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Research Writing by Prof. Frances Grace J. Jetomo (Head, Publication & Knowledge Management); and Chapters 5 & 6 by Prof. Jezzabie G. Gamis (Head, Intellectual Property – Technology Business Management Services).


Following the presentations was an open forum session, where the RET officials addressed the comments, insights, and suggestions from the faculty-attendees regarding the RET Manual of Operations. (SorSU PIO)
