To showcase the various research projects and outputs of each unit of the University, Sorsogon State University – Office of Research, Extension and Training (SorSU-RET), through the Office of Research and Development (ORD), led by Prof. Christine H. Ferolino (Director, SorSU-ORD), successfully spearheaded its two-day virtual 25th In-House Review of R&D Projects from July 6-7, 2023, via Zoom Meeting.
Participated by SorSU officials, a distinguished panel of evaluators, esteemed researchers, RET officers & staff, faculty members, and students, the In-House Review formally commenced with the welcome remarks of SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, highlighting that the activity is an avenue to showcase the product of academic expertise, intellectual capacity, ingenuity, and diligence of faculty members and researchers in the conduct of scientific, literary, and creative endeavors for the purpose of enhancing instructional delivery and promoting new knowledge to benefit the students and the entire SorSU community.

On the other hand, the Day 2 of the event comprised of recapitulation of Day 1 and the continuation of 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, which focused on 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and participants in respective breakout rooms were welcome to pose queries and ask clarifications or additional explanations from the presenter following the 10-minute presentation.
