Sorsogon State University (SorSU), headed by SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with American University Kyiv, a licensed academic institution of higher education in Ukraine, represented by Prof. Jacek Leskow (Rector, American University Kyiv), on June 24, 2026, in Indonesia.
The partnership covers academic, scientific, cultural, and institutional cooperation between the two universities, including student, faculty, and staff mobility programs, internships and training opportunities, academic exchanges, the engagement of visiting lecturers and professors, joint research/scholarly activities, and cultural visits.
The collaboration reflects SorSU’s continuing commitment to expanding its global academic network and advancing internationalization initiatives that foster academic excellence, research productivity, and cross-cultural understanding. (SorSU PIO)
