SorSU – Supreme Student Council Sorsogon City Campus organizes Induction and Oathtaking Ceremony; 57 Sorsogon City Campus student orgs take oath, pledge commitment
Spearheaded by the Sorsogon State University – Supreme Student Council Sorsogon City Campus (SorSU SSC-SCC), under the leadership of SSC-SCC President Shaquille O’Neal Jeresano, the officers of 57 accredited and recognized student organizations (including major, minor, and special groups) of the Sorsogon City Campus officially took their oaths and signified their commitment to their respective roles and duties in student leadership and service today, November 22, 2024, at the SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.
The activity formally commenced with an opening message from SorSU SSC-SCC President Jeresano. In addition, the presidents of the four major campus organizations — Confederation of Business and Management Students (CBMs), Engineering and Architecture Students Association (EASA), Future Educators’ Guild (FEG), and Technology Student Council (TSC) — also delivered messages to the attendees.
Mr. Kristopher A. Hiloma (Coordinator, Student Development and Services) led the ceremonial oathtaking for student organization officers and their advisers. Meanwhile, the distribution of certificates of recognition was facilitated by Prof. Jucelyn B. Ombao (Adviser, SorSU SSC-SCC), SDS Coordinator Mr. Hiloma, and SSC-SCC President Jeresano. (SorSU PIO)
