On November 16, 2024, Sorsogon State University’s BS Tourism Management (BSTM) and BS Hospitality Management (BSHM) students proudly represented the university at the Youth for Tourism and Hospitality Conference 2024 (Y4TH 2024) held at UP Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman, Manila. The event brought together future tourism and hospitality professionals to showcase their talents, passion, and excellence in their respective fields.
Among the remarkable achievements during the event, Rica Jane Ladac Penalba, a 4th-year BS Tourism Management student, made an outstanding mark by clinching the prestigious 2nd Runner-Up title in the Mx. Turismo 2024 competition. Her exceptional grace, determination, and representation of Sorsogon State University truly exemplified the university’s commitment to excellence in tourism education.
The delegates’ unity and dedication were evident throughout the event, as they proudly carried the banner of Sorsogon State University, embodying the values of professionalism and excellence.
