SorSU conducts a variety of programs, projects, activities, and research initiatives to solidify its aim of eradicating poverty within its capacity. Through its proactive university anti-poverty programs, SorSU aids the livelihoods of local farmers, supports cooperatives and micro, small, and medium enterprises, and implements food technology programs—some of which are designed to alleviate poverty in barangays during the pandemic. The university also launches scholarship programs that provide financial and educational assistance to students from low-income families.
